BDS (National University of Singapore)
Dr Jayden received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the National University of Singapore, graduating with the Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher award for his research on dental x-ray interpretation. Dr Jayden subsequently obtained his postgraduate Diploma in Primary Care Dentistry (Dip. PCD RCSI) and Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry (MFD RCSI) with the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland.
Prior to joining private practice, Dr Jayden gained valuable experience working with a team of specialists at the National Dental Centre Singapore. During his tenure, he focused on comprehensive treatment planning and restoring broken dentition with dentures, crowns, and bridges. His commitment to patient care was recognised with the SMILE (Service with extra Mile) Award, which he received due to excellent feedback from his patients. He was later appointed Dental Officer-In-Charge of several Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) dental centres where he provided advanced general dentistry to servicemen, with a focus on painless wisdom tooth surgeries, root canal treatment, crowns, and bridges.
Dr Jayden is passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest dental innovations and clinical practices. He frequently attends courses and conferences to improve his skills and provide the best standards of care for his patients. He has completed comprehensive courses in Dental Implants, Clear Aligners (Invisalign), and Root Canal Treatment and is certified to provide Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) sedation for anxious patients.
Dr Jayden’s attention to detail extends beyond his work as a dentist and into his hobbies. He is an avid tinkerer who loves to keep up with the latest gadgets and delve into their technicalities, software, and inner workings. Whether it’s programming or creating small applications, Dr Jayden enjoys exploring the complexities of modern technology and finding new ways to make it work for him. This curiosity has allowed him to gain valuable insights and knowledge not just in oral healthcare, but also in the world of technology.
